  2. My wife gained about 50lbs when she was pregnant with our first, and she got most of it back off within a couple years. Even with the weight, as a husband I honestly just loved how her body was changing. It was new and neat during pregnancy, then again after pregnancy, etc. Novelty is fun, so don’t worry about all of the changes! Also, you’re really quite beautiful pregnant! Enjoy the experience while you’re there. My wife always talks about how she misses being pregnant and feeling the baby. There are more important things to think about than pregnancy weight gain.

I also need to ask… Whose Godzilla toy is that in the background!? I have that exact one in a smaller size, along with a big collection of others since I’ve always loved Godzilla since I was a kid.

  3. Youโ€™re gorgeous!! Pregnancy can be a mind bender… just try to be kind to yourself. You have nothing to be ashamed of. If it makes you feel any better, I gained 60lbs during both of my pregnancies and had to work it off. Never quite got around to those last 5lbs, but my partners never complained.

  4. Nothing wrong with that , you’ supposed to be gaining weight while pregnant for the baby. Looking good…trust me you’re going to fell great when you can sleep on your stomach or back again

  5. You really do have a glow about you, and it may surprise you to hear this but there are men whose hearts are absolutely melted by motherhood. You look wonderful, and have nothing to be ashamed of.

  6. Remember that although a baby may be <10lb, you have to gain more than that to have a healthy pregnancy. I lost at least 25lb the day each of my children was born, and feel like 15lb of that was peed out! Your blood volume increases a lot, water is heavy, you have to gain weight.

You look so beautiful, I hope you can come to see that and enjoy the pregnancy – you don’t get to do that many times in your life, treasure it if you can.

  7. Don’t worry, you are an amazingly beautiful pregnant woman and there is not one gram too much on your body. This extra weight helps you to form a healthy baby! No need to be ashamed of it!

  8. Shouldnโ€™t be ashamed at all! Pregnant woman are sexy af and I think youโ€™ll find there are a lot of guys that think so. With that being said, you look amazing, pregnant or not! Gorgeous body!

  9. My god you are at the peak of your womanhood. Carrying a baby is the sexiest a woman can look imo. Your body is adapting to growing and feeding another life. Its nothing but normal changes which can be reversed as your baby grows. Please stop worrying about how you look and enjoy the life you’re growing and the fact that you look amazing whilst you’re doing it!

  10. The things that happen to your body during pregnancy are a trip. Try to enjoy the experience and don’t worry about gaining weight or being a different shape. I have 3 kids and every time I gained a bunch of weight right at the start but then slowed way down on the weight gain. I lost the weight afterwards every time.
